The Floating Bridge Food and Farm Cooperative invites you to spend part of the holiday season in Brookfield.  Choose a fresh Vermont Christmas Tree, enjoy our holiday market, meet local farmers and their animals, enjoy great local food, stay at some of our wonderful inns, or farmstays, and secure some great Vermont made holiday gifts and food.

Choose your Christmas Tree at LH Stowell & Son then stop by our Holiday Shop for the rest of your holiday gift needs.  Beautiful farm products and handmade gifts from wreaths and ornaments to candles, honey and caramel will be available as well as Vermont farm fresh meat and vegetables for your holiday meals.

Choose your own Christmas Tree at LH Stowell & Son

Stroll through the Stowell's picturesque farm and choose your own Christmas Tree from 8 varieties and many different sizes.  Open Fri, Sat, Sunday 9-4pm from Nov 25th through Nov 18th. Open Dec 23rd by appointment.

Cooking Demo and Cookbook Signing: December 11th, 11-2 at Green Mountain Girls Farm

Join Cookbook Author Diane Imrie for a cooking demonstration, tasting and conversation about Cooking Close to Home for the holidays and throughout the seasons at Green Mountain Girls Farm.  Diane will be cooking Pumpkin Cheddar Ale Soup, Kale Salad and dessert of course.  Meet Diane and sample seasonal dishes made with farm fresh food.  Her Cookbook makes a great holiday gift and will be available, autographed for your favorite cook.

The farmstand at Green Mountain Girls Farm will be open.  Check out what is currently on sale at the farmstand.

Tour one of our local farms that are raising livestock on pasture and offer delicious, farm fresh products for gifts or your holiday meals.

Dinner at Ariel's Restaurant

End your day with dinner at Ariel's Restaurant where Lee Duberman will transform local farm products into a delightful meal.  Offering food and wine in warm, welcoming and relaxed surroundings with great service, complemented by the beautiful and charming country village of Brookfield, causes diners to return time after time.
