Ariel’s Restaurant is located in a beautiful 1840’s farmhouse on Sunset Lake in the tiny hamlet of Pond Village, in Brookfield. Since 1997 Chef Lee Duberman has been using the best local and seasonal produce and meats to create a very personal menu. Influences from Regional American, Classic Mexican, Mediterranean and Southeast Asian cuisine are found on the menu. Richard seeks out the best values in wines for his exceptional list, and creates hand-crafted cocktails at the bar, which also features Vermont Micro-brews.
Ariel’s is a member of Vermont Fresh Network, Slow Food Vermont and the Floating Bridge Food and Farms Cooperative. “The close ties we have with local farms is rewarding on so many levels.”Local cheeses make an appearance on the dessert menu and in hand crafted pastas. Local honey and maple are found in sauces and desserts. Ariel’s holds many special events throughout the year featuring local farm products. Our Sunday Farm Suppers held each Sunday from late June through September feature foods sourced within 10 miles of the restaurant in a three-course price-fixed meal.
Having developed a profound love and respect for Mexico, it's people, culture and food while spending parts of each winter there over the last fifteen years, we decided to introduce the classic food of Mexico's Central Highlands to the population of Central Vermont. Beginning in May of 2015 you will be able to savor the flavor charged traditional cuisine that we couldn't bear to leave behind. Come and sit in our new outdoor gazebo with a view of the lake and treat yourself to posole, tortas, the days special(think enchiladas and rellenos etc.) a margarita and a paleta on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 to 2:00.

Private Parties - Catered on-site by the lake for up to 60 guests in winter, 140 in summer (with tents); call Lee to discuss possible details and menus.
