Chef Lee Duberman uses the best of local and seasonal produce to create a very personal menu. Influences from Regional American, Classic Mexican, Mediterranean and Southeast Asian cuisine are found on the menu. Richard seeks out the best values in wines for his exceptional list, and creates hand-crafted cocktails at the bar, which also features Vermont Micro-brews. Ariel’s is a member of Vermont Fresh Network, Slow Food Vermont and the Floating Bridge Food and Farms Cooperative. We search out local products and use as many as possible as part of our menu. Lee buys meats from local farmers to produce Ariel’s cured meats and sausages. Local cheeses make an appearance on the dessert menu and in hand crafted pastas. Local honey and maple are found in sauces and desserts. Ariel’s holds many special events throughout the year featuring local farm products. Our Sunday Farm Suppers held each Sunday from late June through September feature foods sourced within 10 miles of the restaurant in a three-course price-fixed meal. Throughout the winter Chef Lee teaches cooking classes and creates special menus based (for example) on the cuisine of Spain or Mexico, or on finding creative uses for Vermont cheeses. There’s always something special going on at Ariel’s. Services Offered: Dinner- reservations are highly suggested.
