"The Floating Bridge Food and Farms Cooperative is inviting everyone to spend part of the holiday season in Brookfield and make this year a localvore holiday.

Choose a fresh Vermont Christmas Tree, enjoy a holiday market, meet local farmers and enjoy great local meats and produce, and secure some great handmade holiday gifts and food.

December 7th and 8th, you can put together a great holiday outing in the Brookfield area. Enjoy a drive through picturesque countryside to LH Stowell and Son Christmas Tree Farm to choose your tree. Stroll the property and let yourself fall in love with one of their 8 varieties and many sizes.

After getting your tree and enjoying their electric train in the barn, drive into the scenic village of Brookfield and enjoy the Floating Bridge Food and Farms Cooperative’s Holiday Shop held in the Fork Shop, next to the Floating Bridge. Make a dent in your holiday shopping with handcrafted products such as beeswax candles, soaps, wreaths, and holiday arrangements. For the food lovers on your list, you can choose caramel, honey, barbecue sauce, maple products, jams, Ariel’s chocolates or even a copy of the new Vermont Farm Table Cookbook featuring several recipes from Ariel's. And if you can’t decide, choose a gift basket with a sample of several items.
