Two Farms, Two musical genres blending talents. One special evening.
Farm-to-Table Supper featuring Field Stone Farm’s unique localvore wood-fired oven pizzas and Green Mountain Girls Farm’s meats, salads, sides and of course dessert, all served in the Farm’s Farmhouse Inn. Enjoy some special creations with food from both farms served buffet style for the first time in our Farmhouse Inn, around the Masonry Heater if it is a chilly evening!
Beethoven and Banjos Concert blending the Chamber music talents of Scrag Mountain Music with the American Roots duo Red Tail Ring.
Evan Premo (Scrag Mountain Music) and his sister Laurel Premo (Red Tail Ring) are composing music together combining their classical and folk talents. Along with other members of Decoda, the Carnegie Hall affliate and Micheal Beauchamp, the other half of Red Tail Ring, they bringing a week of community concerts and school events to Michigan’s Upper Pennisula where Evan and Laurel grew up. Fortunately for us here in Vermont, they are bringing their creative work to us as well.
While very different, Vermont and Michigan’s Upper Pennisula have much in common. Rural communities so entwined with and reliant on the profound natural landscape. Places that leave deep marks, memories and inspiration.
We are always thrilled to have Scrag Mountain Music and Red Tail Ring perform at the farm. To have them come together will be a special treat.
Bring on the Violin, double bass, viola, banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and their amazing musicians.
